Dear Mary,
Oh my, do I have stories to tell you. Did you know that one time when Daniel and Zoe went fishing with Jared; Daniel was reading the last sentence in a chapter of a book, when "the fish on" noise clanked...Jared came up to Daniel (age16) and grabbed his paperback, threw it into the bay...and asked Daniel where the heck the fish was!!! what an incredible role model he was for my kidz...The most loving, nonjudgmental guy on this planet...
So while Jared was in the hospital, someone walks in with a stethoscope and asked Jared, may I listen to you? Jared responded,"It's about time somebody does!" I relayed that story at our quarterly staff meeting, yesterday at St Francis Hospital, San Francisco.

We miss you sooooo,Jared; love Amy, Hank, Natalie, Daniel and Zoe...we love you, Mary

We feel very lucky to have had known Jared and are so grateful that he was such a wonderful part of Chaddy's life! We treasure the fact that Chaddy will always be able to look back on their fishing trips and smile! (especially since his was always the "bigger" fish :)!!) We love you Mary! Please know that you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jared was a craftsman, patriot and avid fisherman. Jared had lots of friends who shared his love for the Chesapeake Bay. Please share your memories of my brother!

I have many fond memories of Jared, from him teasing Hank and me as little kids, to having a beer (his was non-alcoholic)with him in a little bar in Annapolis a few years back.
Our thoughts and sympathy to all of you. Richard, Vikki, Ben, Alex, Paige and Matt.
