Who's Who in the Cast: Jason Robert Cook (10/21/82-2/10/13) was on his own stage for thirty years as a beloved son, brother, partner and friend. He passed away in New York City, a place that he called home, surrounded by a myriad of loving friends and a passion for the theatre. He attended Smith Jewish Day School, was a graduate of Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD and an attendee of Mary Mount Manhattan College where he majored in Theatre. Jason had an angelic voice that could silence a room; he had a charismatic charm that brightened many with his love, compassion, friendship and humor. Jason was an actor, singer and dancer, who displayed his talents on a large scale nationally while on tour in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and created his own show, "With a Little Help from My Friends." He was a loving and talented man, with a sense of humor of immense magnitude; and a philanthropist to the young and old alike. Jason's serenade of life will be everlasting in our hearts. His parents, Frances Kaiser Cook of Silver Spring and Michael S. Cook of Rockville, grandmother, Sylvia Kaiser, sister and fiance, Samantha Cook and Kyle McKinley, niece, Lily and partner, Bryen Shannon will have a Remembrance Celebration of Jason's life to be held at the Bethesda North Marriott Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852 on March 17 at 1 p.m. RSVP required email Fran, Mike or Samantha Cook facebook.
