Dear Mitzi and family,
We had the pleasure of meeting your mom the day of your wedding in DC. And now we learn what an extraordinary woman she was and how this was passed on to you.
We are very sorry of your loss but be sure she is in a special place in heaven.
You and your family will be in our prayers.
With love,

Dear Mitzi, Ralph & Family,
Although Bob & I were not fortunate enough to have met your Mom I can witness her strength of character in you Mitzi and something in her smiling photo also lets me know that she was a true heart. We grieve for you as we have been through the same rite of passage with our own parents. It is never easy to let go....but how fortunate you were to have had such a wonderful gift in this life as your mother.
Peace be with you & yours always.
We love you,
Doris & Bob

Hi Bobby: This came as a shock to me. I did not realize she was ill. We have all been together, since school days and thru work days, I cannot imagine seeing one of you without the other. May you and your family find comfort in your faith in GOD and know that he will give you all the strength you need. If I can be of assistance I am here. LOVE TO THE FAMILY.

Life is but a stopping place
a pause in what's to be
A resting place along the road
to our eternity
We all have different journeys
Different paths along the way
We all were ment to learn some things
but never ment to stay
Our destination is a place
Far greater than we know
For some the journey is too quick
For some the journey's slow
And when our time is at the end
We claim our great reward
We find an everlasting peace
Together with the Lord.
BOBBY,OUR PRAYS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Mr. Yates & Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I had the honor of speaking to your parents at my mothers funeral. They are long time friends of my parents, John and Annie Harps and I have always thought highly of your family. Your mother is your Guardian Angel and will be looking over all of you. Always think of the good times and it will help you get through the tough times.
My prayers are with the entire Family.

Bob Yates and Family,
Ed and I would like to extend to you our heartfelt sympathy in the passing of your beloved Jaunice. God called another Angel to HIM and so now she resides with HIM with a renewed joy and peace. Although her presence will be missed, her smile, her zest for life, her kind words, and good deeds will remain in our hearts and minds.
Seek comfort in the Lord -- He will provide.
Revelation 21:4
"And God shall wipe away tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away."
Our thoughts and prayers remain with you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

A Reminiscence
YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.
May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.
Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;
To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.

Words cannot express the sorrow in losing such a wonderful friend of almost 40 years and a true lady, a characterization which Jaunice certainly always exemplified. She may now be absent from our view on this temporary home we call earth; however, take comfort in knowing by the life she led, she's now at peace and rest in her real home with the Holy Father. May our lives be lived in such a way that we may be with her again someday on the other side.

Mrs. Yates lived a very full and satisfying life surrounded by many who loved and cared about her. Focus on the happy times you all shared together. Have faith in the promise Our Heavenly Father made at Psalms 37:29. It reads “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.” His promise will without fail come true. What a glorious day we have to look forward to. I offer my sincere condolences to you all.

Mr. Francis R. Yates, Sr & Family:
(Dear Mr. Yates)
Peace Be Unto You.
On behalf of the National Islamic Scouts adult staff and my Sea Scout Ship Mates. I write you this note with a sad heart. Aunt Jaunice was my grandmother's best friend and she was always kind to everyone. May G-d be kind in His love to you and your family.

Surrounded by those who admired and loved her, A woman, once full of life, now in paradise.
The aura around her sending rays of sadness into our heart,Unearthing the precious memories of her.
And as we thought and thought in a mindless trance. We saw the Angel bowing before her.
Tears coming out of his lustrous eyes
That life so precious as hers, he had to take.
But he managed to bring himself together and flew away.
Taking her soul into the highest heavens in the sky.
Our heart sunk, as tears flooded out of our eyes
And our eyes simply stared into the dismal sky.
She is not far she is the wind talking to you, she is the sunshine on your face, she is the peace within you.
May she rest with G'd, Ameen.
