JEAN MILES HALE
Peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021, Jean Miles Hale departed this earthly life. She is survived by seven children, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one sister and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends will unite on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3800 Ely Place SE, Washington, DC 20019. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.

I am so sorry to hear of Jean’s death. She was a remarkable woman, wife, mother, and friend to so many people. I have the fondest memories of Jean and Wilfred and their beautiful family when I was a young priest at Our Lady Queen of Peace. I will never forget the witness they gave, bringing their children to Mass every Sunday, active in the school and parish community, and good neighbors. May Jean and Wilfred now Rest In Peace. God bless and comfort their good family.
