Of Alexandria, on December 15, 2002. Beloved wife of George H. Tilton III; mother of the late George H. Tilton IV, Elizabeth Jane Tilton-Wahlert of Alstead, NH, and Theodora Tiffany Tilton of Alexandria. Also survived by one brother, Douglas Alippe of Hardy, VA, and one sister, Elizabeth Boecher of Hendersonvile, NC and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2002 from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, Alexandria where a funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be private at a later date.
