JERRY PRENTICE, SR. (Age 76)
Departed this life on November 6, 2017. Jerry was proceeded in death by his parents William Rufus and Minnie Ruth Prentice; four siblings: William Rufus Prentice, Jr., George Prentice, Aretha Lee, and Quentio Prentice. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Mary Prentice; daughter Jeritta Prentice, and son Jerry Prentice, Jr. (Tamika); his niece, Jackie Parrish; and nephews, Roosevelt Johnson and Tony Evans which he helped raise, five brothers: Isaac Prentice, Hayward Prentice (Diane), Dr. Joseph Prentice (Mary), Milton Prentice (Helen), Victor Prentice, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. On Monday, November 20, 2017 friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at J.B. Jenkins Funeral Home, 7474 Landover Road, Landover, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham.
