Mr. Reaves will lie in state on Monday October 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. until celebration of life service 11 a.m., at The Way of the Cross Church of Christ, 1800 Hazelwood Drive, Capital Heights, MD 20743. On Monday November 10, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., final resting place is at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Ambassadors to the Nations, 4020 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. Services entrusted to the Stewart Funeral Home.

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Reaves family. On behalf of the Bennett family please know that we all are here for you. Jerry was an amazing husband, father, uncle, grandfather, cousin, brother in law, son in law, father in law and friend. His laughter, stories, generosity, love and
smile will be missed. However, let it be a comfort to you to know that he is a Christian and God fearing man. He rests in God's loving arms. May God continue to bless you all with his everlasting grace, mercy, peace and love.
