Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this month and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Jesse Jaime US Marine Corporal.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families and friends and others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,

Jesse was one of my best friends. I think about him every day. I have his prayer card from his funeral taped to the dash board of my car so I see him everyday. The years that we spent together in FAST and the short time In Cali is unreplaceable. I love him like a brother. I always remember the times when Jesse, Mac, Escamillia, Sanchez, and myself would pile into my car and take the drive to VA Beach. Every time I speak or see one of the guys from FAST he always comes up.
I love you Jesse and you will never be forgotten.

We thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence
We often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake
With which we'll never part
God has you in His keeping
We have you in our Heart.

The Wind on The Downs
“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”
(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )
Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….
“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”
I did not know Jesse, but I am remembering
his service. He is my hero. !

The Other Side
i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.
can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.
i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.
it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side
the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

Father we entrust our brother Jesse to your mercy. You loved him greatly in this life: now that he is freed from all its cares, give him happiness and peace forever. Welcome him now into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with Jesus your Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
May God hold Jesse in the palm of His hand. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My deepest sympathy.

To the Family and Friends of this Soldier:
I will stand in grief with this soldier's family to honor him. For every fallen HERO there is a bright star that shines in the evening sky to remind us of the cherished gift we were given – even if for too short a time.
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courageous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guestbook for the rest of my life, but I promised Brent that neither he nor any like him would be forgotten and so I will continue until the day there is no longer the need.
We lost our son SFC Brent A. Adams on 12/1/05 and it seems like yesterday. I wish so badly there were things I could say to you right now to make the pain you are feeling go away, but I know first hand there simply are no words that will bring you the comfort and peace your heart aches for. Just know that you are not alone. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you all as you go through this tragedy moment by moment and as you mourn this loss.
We don't know each other, will probably never meet, but will forever be united in the loss of our Heroes. We have, unfortunately joined a group none of us wanted to join, an ever-growing group of families in this situation. May God grant you peace and strength to get through this and be able once again to smile at a memory rather than have only the tears that flow so easily now. To be so proud of your loved one and so saddened at the same time is a mix of emotions very difficult to deal with as our hearts both burst with pride and pain together.
I am sorry that I never knew your soldier personally. While they can never be replaced, neither will they ever be forgotten. You must trust that sometime, someday the loving memories you have will help to sustain you and help you go on. This courageous soldier will forever be your Angel watching over you all for the rest of your lives. It's what brings me some measure of peace and comfort and I hope it will you as well.
To his family and friends in pain, I offer this comfort: When you find yourself in that dark sorrowful place, think not only of how you will miss him, but instead recall the years, days, hours and minutes gifted to you by his presence. The one thing that cannot be taken from you is your wonderful memories that now will mean more than ever.
If you ever want to talk, I'm only an e:mail away and would love for you to tell me more about your Hero.
God Bless this soldier and family who gave all and God Bless legacy.com for setting up this site where families can so quickly share their condolences and prayers with others like themselves.

To the family and friends of Cpl. Jesse Jaime:
Your fallen soldier Jesse and every fallen soldier’s family will always be honored and remembered as our Heroes. We are proud of each and every one of the fallen for their service to our country and their dedication to duty and honor. All those stars in the heavens and every sunset we see remind us that our precious loved ones are looking back at us. I know your grief is overwhelming at this point and you wonder how you will ever get past this tragic moment in time so just hold tightly to your cherished memories and they will help you through this time of mourning.
We lost our son SFC Brent A. Adams on 12-01-05 in Ramadi, Iraq and that was a day that changed our lives forever. I wish there was some way to ease your pain and sorrow but at this time I know there is nothing I can do or say that will comfort you and give you peace. However, we want you to know you are not alone and unfortunately there is a continuous number of families in this terrible situation. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. I know how proud you feel but at the same time a piece of your heart is missing forever. May God grant you peace and serenity to get through this ordeal. Your soldier has completed their service above and beyond the call of duty and has been redeployed to Heaven to serve with the angels. Even though we have never met and we didn’t know your soldier we share that bond of sorrow that binds us together. Some day we will be able to look back at all our wonderful memories and celebrate our loved ones lives without all the tears we shed now. God speed to you Jesse, our HERO. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” John 15:13. May Peace be with you.
If you need an ear to listen do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks to legacy .com for providing a place for families of the fallen to connect with each other.
Some poems to share:
I think of you often
and make no outward show,
But what it means to lose you,
no one will ever know
You wished no one farewell,
not even said good-bye,
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
You are not forgotten
nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memories last,
I will remember thee.
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories were a lane.
I'd walk right up to heaven,
To bring you home again.
To remember you is easy,
We do it everyday.
But missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

First, I wish to send my love, support and prayers to Jesse's family. I know first hand how difficult it is when a family member is no longer with us. But, stay strong and know that we will see them again.
For the past five years I have been away from Vegas, so I was just informed of the loss of Cpl. Jamie this morning. It has saddened me deeply.
At Chaparral H.S. I had the pleasure of participating in JROTC with both Jesse and Joel... little did I know I was standing shoulder to shoulder with two true heros.
As someone who is getting ready to depart for bootcamp, my true appreciation goes out to those who have served before me.
To Joel, you will be in my heart always. Thank you for your service and dedication.
And Jesse... you will never be forgotten.

It really hurt to learn the news of what happened to Jesse a few weeks ago. As a Marine about to deploy to Iraq it puts a more personal spin on the whole matter. For all of you from old 1st PLT. 2nd FAST who were close with Jesse, consider yourselves blessed. For there are few men out there like him. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. When this is all said and done Escamilla, we are gonna go and visit Vegas and Jesse's family to celebrate the memory of our brother.

Jesse was a fine young man who rarely ever complained of the tasks laid in front of him as a U.S. Marine. I had the luxory of working with him for 2 years as his Platoon Sergeant while he was assigned to 2D FAST Co. During this time I got to know him as a young Marine as well as a man. There will be none who could replace him. I can honestly say I loved him like he was my own son. I pray for his brother Joel, who I never had the opportunity to meet, and his family. I know they miss him greatly. If you read this Joel, know your brother thought the world of you. He spoke of you often, always good. To his parents I would like to say, you did a fine job with that young man. The sacrifices you commited in allowing Jesse and Joel to serve as Marines was more than most will ever have to give. I am so saddened by your loss as well as the loss others have felt concerning this. I know all of the men I serve with who knew Jesse took a day to celebrate his life and talk of all of the funny things he did as well as how much good he brought to our lives. I am a better man for having known Jesse and will miss him always.

There will never be another person like Jesse in my life ever again. For the short time i knew him he was a huge blessing and one of the most important parts of my life. He was smart and funny and sweet and always respected me more than anyone else ever has. There arent a whole lot of guys in the world like Jesse, He never forgot me and I will never forget him. I'm looking forward to the day when i can meet him up in heaven and hear him say whats up cutie and we'll kick it...and i know he is laughing down at me now because i want to hear that one sentence so bad again. I was proud of him and now i want to make him proud of me. To Jesse's family and friends, to joel and savhanna... I love and care about you guys more than you know, I wish we all knew one another better, I think he would have liked that, there is so much i want to say about him, that i feel only you guys would understand. Jesse, i'll ALWAYS have you in my prayers. The last time I saw Jesse, he and Joel were on "leave" from Iraq to come home to attend Abuelita's funeral. Joel had to go back to Iraq, Jesse was home for 2 more days. The last time I ever saw Jesse Jaime was on that blessed weekend, he was the designated driver and had to leave Lisa(his cousin) and I (Lisa's Best Friend) to go pick up one of his friends who couldn't drive home safely. Jesse still rocks and THANK YOU GOD FOR LETTING US ALL HAVE JOEL JAIME WITH US. Jesse and Joel Thank you for SERVING, I didn't have the cajones to do it! Jesse was such a great person. He always had a smile on his face and knew exactly how to make people laugh. He was a wonderful person. I knew him because of my brothers. They were friends with him first, and i was one of the lucky people to have known him too. I am very thankful to have had Jesse in my life. He will be missed and was truely loved by many people. He was a couple of years older than me, but he never made me feel like a little kid when we were younger. I wish that i could see him again. He'll always be in my heart and in my wonderful memories. He's a true hero. Love you Jesse!!! <3

My condolences to all of Jesse's family. Our family has known jesse for over 6 years. Jesse and Joel both came to many of our pool parties and we shared lots of laughter with him and joel. Jesse was a very loving and caring person who will be very missed by our family. We are very greatful for all the wonderful pool party memories both jesse and joel brought to our lives. We will miss him.

Before i start my deepest sympathy goes out to the family for the loss of jesse. I was Jesses' team leader for over a year, i taught him all i knew. He was one of the few people who i think i could actually stay in touch with when i get out of the Marine Corps. I feel terrible about his loss. When i first found out i didn't know how he was killed and the burden was on my shoulders like it was my fault. I feel like i could have taught him more. He was a great kid that did everything he was told. he would gripe and complain about things, but he would always do them. i have many memories, and many of pictures of Jesse if you want any of them or need anything just email me. He was one of my brothers to, so that makes me part of your family. He faught with valor and go down as a hero.
