SILMAN

JIMMIE SILMAN Jr.

Jimmie Silman, Jr. died on June 21, 2022 in the loving care of the Casey House hospice. He was 95. Beloved husband of Nadine, son of Jimmie and Wadad Silman, brother to Lorene Bishop and Pauline Woodford, father to Jimmie III (aka Ratso), Janeen Miller and Diana Pagnotta, and grandfather to Alister and Ash Miller, and Michael and Samia Pagnotta, he was dearly loved and will be missed by a large community of family, friends and colleagues.



The visitation will be on Sunday, July 24, from 2 to 5, and the memorial service will be Monday, July 25 at 4 p.m., followed by a celebratory reception, all taking place at Gawler's Funeral Home, 5130 Wisconsin Avenue.



Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to Montgomery/Prince George's Hospice in support of the Casey House.

Jimmie and Nadine were the first ones to welcome my family to the US with open arms. They were a beautiful couple and Alita and I will forever be grateful for their love and support.
