I´m just now learning of Joan´s passing and I´m saddened by the news. Joan took my book, Petite Rouge - A Cajun Red Riding Hood and turned it into a magical children´s musical. We only met in person a few times but it was always great fun sharing stories and memories of New Orleans with her. She was a lovely lady and a brilliant talent.

I knew Joanie many years ago, before and after Mrs. Foggybottom. A dear person and a great loss to so many. May she rest in peace.
