JOE ANN BROOKS-MOORE
Joe Ann Brooks-Moore, affectionately called "beautiful" by her husband and "Gaga" by her great grandchildren went to be with the Lord in her heavenly home on Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was dearly loved, and she doted on her family endlessly. Born June 13, 1947, to the late Louise Brooks Smith and Joseph Smith. Beloved wife of Hardrick Moore; devoted mother of Tia (William); cherished grand- mother of Lauren, Troy, and London; great grandmother of Zaylon, Zakhi, Storm, and Zori Joe Ann. Friends may visit with the family Monday, February 7, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Highland Park, 6801 Sheriff Road, Landover, MD. Interment to follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.

Joe Ann was one of my high school classmates. She was a sweet, shy and lovely young lady. She was voted the best dressed in our class year book. She will be missed by all. Praying for her family.
