The beloved father of Marjorie, Charlene, Rita, John, Jr. and Mrs. Judy Atkinson-Mobley; he is also survived by two sisters Alice Curry and Viola Hamilton (James); one brother Eugene Curry; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 1, from 12 until time of service 1 p.m. at POPE FUNERAL HOMES, WASHINGTON CHAPEL, 2617 Pennsylvania Ave. S.E.

In loving memories of my grandfather, you'll be surely missed. I was given the chance to meet and establish a relationship with you. I will forever cherish the times we shared together. I'll meet you again in another time. I know your smiling on us. BOBO, you'll be missed. Thanks for being a part of my life.
