John Bixler Obituary
JOHN MOURER BIXLER (Age 94)
Beloved husband and father passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. John is survived by his children, Allyson Bixler, Stephen Bixler and Mary Frye; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. John lived in Bethesda, MD and practiced estate and tax law in Washington, DC for 63 years. He retired to Carlisle, PA in 2018. He was a Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, and Harvard Law. A memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Concord-St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 5910 Goldsboro Rd., Bethesda MD 20817. A reception will follow service. In lieu of flowers donations may be mailed to the CSA Trustees Foundation at the church address.

Belated condolences from the Nolan family. John was a great friend of my dad's, and helped me and our family on numerous occasions. We loved to talk about wine. I can still here his voice extolling the latest Burgundy release. :) John will be missed, but always remembered.

I wish the Bixler family the very best during this time of sorrow. As Steve's friend and teammate, I got to know Mr. Bixler during high school and was very grateful that he was a kind and understanding father, especially so when we weren't at our best.
