JOHN CASE Obituary


John Harvey Case, Sr. (Age 87)
Of Fairfax, VA passed away on December 24, 2020. He was born on February 10, 1933, in Schenectady, NY, son of the late James Wilbur Case, Sr, and Gladys Ladine Case (Ketchum). He was preceded in death by his wife, Eugenia Pauline Case (Forehand). He is survived by his sister Gladys Stent and brother James Case, Jr., his son, John Harvey Case, Jr, and his wife, Noi, his daughter, Marcia Lynn Fuller (Case), and her husband Tom, his granddaughters Alexandria and Tuanjai, as well as many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.  Mr. Case moved with his family from Schenectady, New York, in 1940, and called Fairfax City, VA, home for the remainder of this years. He was a proud veteran, having honorably service in the U.S. Air Force. After his service, he became a dedicated and respected firefighter working for the Fairfax County and Fairfax City Fire Departments, retiring after 30 years. He was also an avid outdoorsman, spending many wonderful times with family and friends, hunting, fishing, skiing, and visiting his beloved family camp in Warrensburg, NY. He was also an active and enthusiastic member of the American Legion, Post 177, spending many happy hours there with his military colleagues.  There will be no service due to Covid concerns. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
