GRIFFIN, JOHN W. "JACK"

On Thursday, December 26, 2002. Father of Jennifer Griffin, John Griffin Jr., Caitlin Griffin, Catherine "Cassie" Griffin, Conor Michael Griffin Goetz; companion of Janet Goetz; husband of Carolyn Griffin; grandfather of Annalise and Amelia Myre; son of Catherine Griffin and the late William J. Griffin. Also survived by two brothers, William and Michael; and one sister, Barbara. Friends may call at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave. at Harrison St., NW, on Thursday, January 2, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 1041 Wisconsin Ave., NW, on Friday, January 3 at 12 Noon. Interment Ivy Hill Cemetery, Alexandria, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John W. Griffin Memorial Fund, Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, Weinberg Building, Suite 1100, 401 N. Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231-2410.
