John C. Moody, Jr., 86, fondly known as "Jack," passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy B. Moody; daughter, Dr. Margot C. Moody; son, John C. Moody, III; four grandchildren, Maiah, Miranda, John IV, and Jack; sister Carolyn Y. Brown; four sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church, 1630 Vermont Ave., NW, Washington, DC on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Viewing 12 noon, Homegoing Service 1 p.m. Interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD. Arrangements: McLaughlin Funeral Home.
