How sad to hear the news of John. I know he is up there giving Mary McGrory and Tim Russert updates.
These days I am closer to Dubuque than D.C. so I plan to drive over to the Mighty Mississippi tomorrow singing "O Dubuque...O Dubuque", toss in a rose and say a prayer for a special friend who never forgot his roots.
