Jonathan "Jon" Graham, 34, of Alexandria, VA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 24, 2018. Jon will forever be remembered by his wife Dria whom is currently pregnant with their son; his parents Doug and Pat Graham; his brothers Doug Jr. and Ryan, as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Jon was born on July 17, 1984 in Hackensack, NJ and moved to Elkhart, IN shortly after his birth. Following graduation from Elkhart Central High School he earned a degree in Political Science from Hillsdale College in 2006. On April 28, 2007 Jon married his college sweetheart, Dria (Schmidt), and together they moved to Washington, DC in 2007. In 2009, Jon co-founded a consulting firm, Gula Graham, and quickly built it into one of the most successful fundraising firms for Congressional Republicans. Building on that success, he was a co-founder of Prime Advocacy, a leading Washington fly-in consulting firm. A loving family man, Jon's devotion to his family provided a wonderful legacy of faith, character and love. He had an unending generosity and loyalty to his family and friends which was unwavering and unconditional. Jon squeezed every ounce out of life and was a man of solid faith. Everyone was welcome at Jon's table and now we take comfort that he is at Christ's table. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, August 30, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 2501 Beacon Hill Road, Alexandria, VA. A reception will immediately follow at Mount Vernon Country Club, 5111 Old Mill Road, Alexandria, VA. Future celebrations of life in Elkhart, IN and Washington, DC are being planned. Donations in lieu of flowers gratefully accepted in Jon's memory. Contributions may be made to a scholarship being established in Jon's name for incoming Hillsdale College students.
