Pastor JOSEPH ANDREW MILLS, JR. (Age 72) Agape Embassy Ministries
Suddenly on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Beloved husband of "First Lady" Otealia Renee Mills; loving father of four children. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, Visitation from 9 a.m. until Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. at Agape Embassy Ministries, 5775 Barclay Drive, Suite 7, Alexandria, VA 22315. Interment Quantico National Cemetery. Services by FREEMAN.

I was just made aware of Joe's Glorification... I "learned," of God from the spirit and heart of Joe Mills. He taught many at Macedonia Baptist church for years before he was elevated to Pastorship, and he taught us well, too, in that I'm so certain that all who has known he and loving family, "met the Master," through them. Much love and peace to his adorable wife and family; I will continue to pray for family and friends, of my brother, my friend, Pastor Joseph Mills.

Hello Ms.Renee and family we were heart broken to hear about the passing of Pastor Mills.We have so many wonderful memories going all the way back to Faith Ministries, Monday Night Bible Study,Pre-marriage counseling (10 months),helping to start Agape Embassy Ministries. All the prayers, love, laughter and Godly wisdom that was shared.We are truly blessed to have gleamed the light of his life for those years that we were together.Even to this day we are always saying something or giving examples of something he taught us.Pastor Mills as well as you all will always have a special place in our hearts. Though I am not a member of Agape Embassy, I really appreciated Dr. Mills and thankful for the short span of time that I was under the sound of his voice-his teaching! I visited the church one Sunday and have been in attendance ever since, except to miss his last Sunday of teaching-which I deeply regret.
After I got the courage to answer the call for prayer, it intensified the fact that Dr. Mills is sincerely a man after GOD's own heart-doing GOD's will!
My sister visited with me on one occasion and met Dr. Renee and Dr. Mills and we agreed on what a beautiful couple you are with an extended welcome that was genuine, kind, and sincere.
Though I regret not having Dr. Mills as my pastor to help guide my life, I am thankful for the time that I knew him and learned a lesson about procrastination.
May GOD bless Dr. Renee Mills, your son Jerone and ALL of your family!
Though I am 'just a visitor', I am one with a heavy heart and I know that Dr. Mills is at his expected destiny--in reunion with GOD

Pastor Mills impact will always be remembered. The knowledge in his words, his teaching are undeniable as to who he was, and what his beliefs were.
Pastor Mills was a gem-his presence, his sense of peace and his patience for Agape Ministries , radio/internet followers and all those that sought to absorb the goodness of Gods words through his Ministry can never be replaced.
i think he would tell us all left behind " that I llived my life serving in peace and joy"

My sincere condolences to First Lady Renee, your children, your extended family and the entire Agape Embassy Ministry Family. I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Pastor Mills. He was my pastor for over 10 years. A true teacher, man of God, with a loving smile and a desire to shepherd everyone into Kingdom living. I am thankful for the many years of teaching and leadership I received as a part of the Embassy. I credit him for helping to build my Christian foundation and desire to understanding God's true word. I mourn with you, he will be missed. May you find comfort in Gods promise of eternal life. I forward to seeing the fruit of the seeds that Pastor Mills planted and watered during his ministry. My prayers to First Lady Renee, Minister Jerome, Minister Dale, and Minister Temple as you continue the Lords work at the Embassy. Whenever I stepped into Dr. Joe's presence, I knew that I was in the presence of an amazing man of God. An excellent teacher of the Word with character and integrity personified!
