Dear Dot
Jay was a very dear chilhood friend to our brother in law Bunny, and our sister Linda. We were very honored and blessed over the years to have his company around us. His smile was so cheerful, if you were down it was sure to bring you up.
Please know he will be missed VERY much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Dear Dot and Family,
We were so saddened by the news of your dear Jay. He was one of the dearest men that we have ever known. We will never forget how much he helped our family, especially our mom and dad. He treated them with such respect and endearment. His comical ways always made us laugh and his sincerity was always heartfelt. We will always remember him lovingly. Please accept our sincere condolences.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To the family of Jay Teipe, I am so sorry for your loss. Jay was a good friend and neighbor. I can't tell you the number of times he was there for me when I needed help yet he never asked for anything in return. I will miss hearing him yell my name from the car as he rode by on Rolling Road or riding a lawn mower with a big smile in Bernie's front yard as he cut the grass. His death is a tragic loss. You have my deepest sympathies.
