Joseph Wisnewski Obituary
Born May 29, 1942 in Scranton, PA, he graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Architectural and Structural Engineering. Joe was an active member of his community, participating in The Boy Scouts of America, where he achieved the highest rank of Eagle Scout. He was an accomplished businessman and architect, serving as President of the Architectural Firm of Wisnewski, Blair & Associates. He further served as Vice President of The American Institute of Architects (AIA). Joe loved to travel, his favorite places being Rome and Florence, Italy. One of his favorite pastimes was cooking and exploring new flavors and recipes, sharing them with family and friends.
Joe was a devoted husband to his wife of 50 years, Sonia, and a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, his daughter Lori Carmone (Brad Williams); his son Rob Adranovic; grandsons Kevin Carmone (Randi), Kyle Carmone, and Zebulon Adranovic; he is also survived by his sister Mary Ann Gieda.
He was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
All are welcome to a visitation on Monday, July 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services to be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church of Fairfax followed by a reception at Dolce Vita.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Sonia: I am so sorry to see that Joe passed away. I had not heard this.
I so enjoyed working with him at Wisnewski Blair as his insurance agent over the many years. I know how you both loved to travel and happy you were able to do so after his retirement. Joyce Kenny
