Judith Bon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Judith Nash Le Bon. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 19, 2024, at the age of 86. She is survived by her children, André (Andrée Huot), Suzanne (the late Don Stevenson) and Céline (Alain Gagne), as well as her grandchildren Jacques, Madison and Philippe Le Bon-Stevenson.
Born in New Jersey, she came to Quebec to study French and literature at Université Laval, where she met her future husband, Claude. After graduating, the newlyweds left for Ethiopia, where they began their family and teaching careers. Back in Quebec City, Judith taught English at Collège Jésus-Marie for several years and obtained a master's degree in linguistics from the University of Burlington in Vermont.
In retirement, they lived for almost 25 years in Chevy Chase, near Washington, DC. On Claude's death, Judith returned to Quebec, to be close to her children and grandchildren. We miss her dearly.
The family will receive condolences followed by the funeral service on May 31, 2025 at 1 p.m. in Saint-François-Xavier Church in Bromont.
Express your sympathy by donating to the American Alzheimer Society.
