I wanted to express my sympathy to Julia's family. Julia, as an aid worker and teacher, was effecting real changes on an individual level. You can't imagine how many lives she touched there! So she will always be cherished as someone who had courage and vision for a better future. May her mission carry on, on due course, with all our minds and hearts.

I met Julie in college when we lived together off campus. When I think of Julie now, I think of her big smile...she had such a wonderful smile! I can picture it clearly.
I wonder how many thousands of people she touched with her beautiful smile since I last saw her.
I truely feel honored to have known someone who accomplished so many amazing things in her short life. I am touched by her memory. What a remarkable woman!

I was so very sorry to hear about Julie's death. She was a very special friend to me in college. We lived together for three years and shared great memories. I will always remember Julie as a kind soul, so fun to be around and always had a smile for all. My heart goes out to her parents and family, what a tragic way to loose such a beautiful person. I am deeply saddened by her untimely death.

To all the family of Julia but especially to Linda, Ron, Bill and Geary...I'm so thankful I got to meet Julia. What a beautiful woman she was - inside and out. My heart aches for each of you and in the coming months please know that if there is anything I can do for anyone of you, I am here. Geary is like my sister and I'm so thankful for her. So many people are thinking of all of you. Julia has certainly left a wonderful legacy.

This is a terrible tragedy and for someone that was trying to do good. I am so sorry for your loss and I can sympathize as I too lost a daughter, age 41, to cancer. There is really nothing worse than to lose a child. God Bless you. I am Alan Stout's sister-in-law. He and Brenda both are very upset over this and offer their prayers and condolences. Brenda and I are planning to attend the memorial service here in Pensacola. Our sister Joan will be attending the one in Virginia

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost our son, Wyatt Ammon, while he was starting his service in the Peace Corps in 2005. My heart aches for you. I wish there were wise words to take away a little of your pain. I have read so much about your daughter and sister. What a wonderful person. I'm just so sorry.
