I am so sorry to hear this news. Julie was a colleague at The Met and I always will be grateful to her as someone who was thoughtful and kind-- even to junior colleagues. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to all her loved ones.

Julie was my neighbor for many years, and at some point we were out having a glass of wine and I discovered she had lived in my home town of Mill Valley CA during WWII. I managed to find a lot of details about the school she went to using the few details she remembered. Our street will miss her so much.

Julie and I shared many professional experiences that all had personal aspects as well. I particularly remember a trip to Mexico in 1990 to arrange object loans for Twenty Centuries of Mexican Splendor. She taught me a great deal and I always looked forward to being with her. Condolences to her family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear that Julie has passed away. What a wonderful woman she was. I remember her as a great sport who got involved in party games and fun, and such a warm soul who was so easy to talk to. Sending love and my thoughts to all the family. She´ll be missed x
