In loving memory of my son, JUSTIN R. DAVIS, who died in Afghanistan on June 25, 2006. It has been one year and it still doesn't seem real that you are gone. What would I give to hear your baritone voice say "What's up Mom Dukes", to see your smiling face and to get a bear hug one more time. You will never be forgotten! Love always,
Your Mother (AKA Mom Dukes)

Mom Dukes & Justin - thanks so much for making the ultimate sacrifice your son/your life. I don't know either of you but I am so touched by your life and your loss. I work with the Soldiers and families everyday for the Army so I see first hand the depth of the loss of our Soldiers. Please remember God in all things and draw on him for strength and ultimately peace. God Bless you Mom Dukes and thank you Justin.

Hello "Mom Dukes". I didn't know your son but feel the pain from your loss. Your son looks like he was a born soldier, and one who was truly brave enough to give up his life for us. My prayers are with you, and your family. I too have a son who fights everyday for our safety. May God give you strength, and remember that the sun will shine again!
