KAREN J. COTTRELL
Suddenly on March 26, 2014, beloved daughter of Elizabeth Cottrell and the late Raymond S. Cottrell, Jr.; loving sister of Keith Cottrell (Kristine), Kathryn Dangin (Andreas) and Kristin Haynes (Richard). Mutually adored by nephews, Andrew, Tom and Ryan and nieces Caroline, Kelly, Rachel and Nicole. Loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many, many friends. Proud member of the Steptoe & Johnson LLC family; former paralegal at Constellation Energy and Washington Gas. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5 at 3 p.m. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 4915 St. Barnabas Road, Temple Hills, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, the American Diabetes Association or perform a random act of kindness in Karen's memory. There are no words that can express the way I feel; Karen was and will always be a dearest friend to me. We did laughed and cried together many times; but, each of these times were always under God consent. I will miss Karen very much and her sweet expression after every four weeks, when she looked at the back of her head and expressed how beautiful her hair looked.
