Suddenly on January 7, 2011 at Loudon Hospital. Loving mother of Christopher Fickling of Sterling, VA; devoted daughter of Peggy Tunstall of Newport News, VA; beloved sister of Sharon Tunstall of Woodbridge, VA, Lisa Frey of Haymarket, VA, Delcenia Wright of Hampton, VA, Alvin Tunstall of Philadelphia, PA, John Tunstall of Hampton, VA, Kevin Tunstall of Centreville, VA; five uncles; two aunts; a devoted fiance' Johnnie Beverly of Sterling, VA; a devoted friend Brenda Slade of Surry, VA and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lyles Funeral Chapel, 630 South 20th St., Purcellville, VA 20132 and Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Mt. Karen & I have been neighbors for many years, CJ & my youngest son grew up together. I will miss our phone conversations, and as everyone else has mentioned, her beautiful smile. Her homecoming service was wonderful and very heartfelt. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.

I will miss my dear friend Karen. She was a sweet soul. I loved her smile and that laugh of hers but will truly miss our phone conversations. Her homegoing service was beautiful. My deepest sympathy to the family. I will forever miss my friend but have many years of fond memories of her.

I heard of Karen's passing today. She was a lovely woman who was always talking to me at the gym. Nothing but smiles whenever we spoke.
