KAREN ANN MARELLA (Age 49)
On Tuesday, December 4, 2012, of Rockville, MD. Beloved daughter of Tony and Lois Marella; sister of Dan (Kathleen) Marella, Terry (Stew) Kirby and Joe (Angie) Marella; aunt of Amanda, Allison, Jenna, Carly, Tori and Kevin. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Monday, December 10 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Karen Marella's family: I am so sorry that Karen lost her battle with MS; she was an inspiration. I met her at least 25 years ago and so enjoyed her personality and determination. And she loved to tease my Daddy and he called his sweetheart. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. May your memories sustain you. Now she may rest in peace.
