Karen and I worked together in the Auditing Department at Hutzler´s downtown. We were part of the Saturday girls. She was in high school and I was in college. She touched me in such a way that I have never forgotten her. I thought she was one of the sweetest and cutest people that I had ever known. She still holds that spot for me. I have been on ancestry for about 10 years. A couple of years ago I decided to look for Karen. My heart was broken when I found that she had passed away. I looked her up again today to see if I could find any updates. I found this site and just had to express my feelings about her.
We had many conversations about what we wanted to do with our lives. She was like a little sister to me. I still have my hair cut the way Karen had hers cut in her Yearbook picture. She sent me to her hair salon. I still have her high school picture in my memory book.
I am so happy to know that Karen was a mother. She had the personality to be a wonderful one. My heart goes out to her sons, her husband and the entire
family. I have never forgotten Karen and I never will.

It is so hard to believe that Karen has
gone to heaven a year ago and now her
dear mother has joined her along with her dad. I miss her very much. She will
be celebrating Mother's day with her mother.

Roger,
I heard Karen's name mentioned in church today. I was so shocked! I am so sorry for your loss. I always remember Karen as being so kind and loving. The short time we all were together at Bell Atlantic. May her soul rest in peace. My prayers go out to you and the boys.

Roger,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Karen's passing. I still think of her as that young, sweet girl you liked to tease back in our C&P IDP days.
Sincerely,

Very sorry to hear of Karen's passing away. I was a friend of hers back in college at Towson. She was a lovely person (pretty, smart, & kind) and she came from a beautiful family. I pray for the comfort of those who mourn her loss and for Karen's eternal joy in Heaven.

Gardenville was a great place to grow up. What made it so special were neighbors like the Gegners. My heart goes out to Karen's family. I have many fond childhood memories of our neighborly liaisons... Mike
