I cannot begin to imagine what it was for his family to go through such a difficult time. Please know I remember Kari very well and my heart goes out to you all at this time.
I was just thinking of Kari and it's been many years since those high school days. We played guitar and jammed together after school, I always thought of him as a creative genius without a doubt, and have a many great memories of our freindship. I moved a few years after hs and live in Utah, married now with a 3 year old daugter.
I was thinking of him a few days ago, and looked him up and saw that he left with God and is now in peace. I had to share with you all, how much he meant to me as a friend. Always smiling positive, and could make you laugh.)
My sincere condolences and prayers to you all.

I first met Kari back in high school. He was shy, like me, but we immediately became friends. He was one of several people who would try and teach me to skate. I also remember hanging out at his house, and making music. I'd start banging away at the drums, and he'd immediately start to play some amazing riffs on his guitar, When Kari worked at Putt Putt, he would always invite me to come in, so he could hook me up with some free games and tokens. When Kari moved to SF, I missed him, but we still kept in touch via old snail mail and the telly. I have so many fond memories of Kari. I feel blessed to have know him for 20 years, Kari, I will always love and miss you. I can still see your smile, I can still hear your laugh. May you be forever at peace, my dear friend...I would also like to offer my deepest sympathies to the Booker family. May you eventually find peace, as well.
