Kathy Myers Obituary

Kathy Myers died peacefully on August 7, 2025. She was born in 1949 in the city of Marquette in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
Kathy had a long career of public service working for the US Park Police. She retired over fifteen years ago. While she hated commuting, she loved the job and maintained friendships with former colleagues throughout her retirement.
She met her late husband Phil thru a shared love of square dancing. Her friendships with folks in the Busy Bee's square dance club have lasted for years. Kathy and Phil also shared a love of cats, having rescued multiple kitty's over the years.
The two most important pillars in her life were family and faith. Kathy was a member of Saint Mark Presbyterian Church and remained active in Ingleside King Farm's Ladies Bible Study. She lived a life of kindness and charity toward all. Our family has found comfort in the many expressions of friendship and love shown by those who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on September 12 at her place of residence: Ingleside at King Farm, 701 King Farm Blvd, Rockville, MD 20850.
