Her truth, engraved in so many memories - "Her Special Interest Is You." Kay came at life with intelligence, wit, energy, and a lot of love. The world needs more like her, and I'm so sorry that she has left us. Shalom, my friend, and joy to you always. Laura and Janet, Mickey joins me in sympathy and love.

What a wonderful woman, whenever I saw her, there was laughter. So many souls in heaven, now delighting in your company.

Kay Bienen was quite a woman -- honest, outspoken and such an irreverent sense of humor! It was an honor, as well as great fun, helping my mother work on Kay's first political campaign, being Kay's intern at the House of Delegates in 1981, and spending time with Kay and her wonderful daughters (and Shalom), long ago. She has remained in my life ever since, from those early influences, and because she and my mother are such good friends. I'll never forget her!
