KENNETH MILLER Obituary
KENNETH BRUCE MILLER "Kenny"
Passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012. He was born the son of Grace Zumwalt and the late Kenneth Miller, Sr. on May 3, 1957. He is survived by his wife Linda; mother Grace and step-father Orlow; sister Cynthia Mead (JIm); nephew of Dr. Mike and Carol Bolognese; other family members and friends. He served in the U.S. Army and was a police officer on Capitol Hill, and later worked for the Carpenters Union. Kenny was an avid fisherman and an adventurous outdoorsman. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 15, 11 a.m., The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew, 15300 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20905. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Make a Wish Foundation, 5272 River Rd., Suite 700, Bethesda, MD 20816 in memory of Kenneth Miller, Jr..

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss Kenny was a good kind man who was very nice to me and girls when we came over to visit. They say that God always takes the good ones young and I truely believe that is true. I will keep you in my prayers. I know this is a very difficult and hurtfull time but when things settle down and you find yourself alone and lonely I am right around the corner again at my mothers. I am home all day long and would love to see you and help in anyway I can please do not hesiate to call. I will leave my numbers with Janice. Linda, we both know there are no words...
but, if ever you whisper to Kenny in a moment alone, please thank him for touching my son's life. He made Cassius feel so special during a day of fishing. He took time with him, explained things to him and showed him the ropes. Cash never forgot that day. Cash never forgot that time with Kenny.
Thank you Kenny from Jessica, Cassius & Landyn.

Dear Cousin Grace: It is so hard to imagine your Kenny dying at such a young age.
We are so sorry for Kenny's suffering, & we prayed a lot for him. He was too young to be called, but he will balance out the age difference in the angels. I am sure he is with all the family, making them laugh, especially his father! I just spoke to Mike & he told me Kenny lived longer than expected & got to go to the Keys fishing, which I know made him happy. Cindy, you lost your only brother, I am so sad for you, but I know you were there & watching him suffer was terrible. Mike, I know you and Carolyn helped as advocates, & God is smiling on all you family members who cared for him, prayed for him and comforted him in these past painful months. Aunt Angie, especially, has fond memories of him as a child, and of course I think I may have babysat him a time or two! We are with you in spirit, Love, Aunt Angie, your cousin Grace & Wendell. 7 yrs ago 6/5 , we were celebrating our Wedding. I shall never forget you coming and sharing! Kenny was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest, GOD needed him to entertain up there I guess! All our Love, and BIG hugs to all, including his wife & family.

I met Kenny in 1989 when I moved to MD. We became great friends and I will never forget his kindness, his gentle soul and his love of life. I will miss him terribly. His light and his laughter will shine in my heart forever. Linda, I can't tell how much you are thought of and my heart goes out to you now. My condolences to his entire family, he was too young to be called home but I bet he's telling stories to every angel he meets!
