KERRY ALAN REID, of Ocean View, DE, formerly of Springfield, VA passed on Thursday, March 30, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. Kerry leaves behind his wife and best friend of 25 years, Patty; his two daughters, Heather and Logan Bouges and his beloved grandson, Harley Hunt. Kerry was a man of ambition and action who spent his time and energy in the constant pursuit of self-development and in developing the potential of others. In the 1990's he owned and operated a successful door-to-door sales company in Springfield, and more recently was working with Pre-Paid Legal Services as a Regional VP and Platinum Executive Director. Kerry is also survived by his mother Chela; his brothers Wayne, Deryl and David; sisters, Beckie and Josie; Aunt Cookie and Cousin Michael; sisters-in-law Denise, Melissa and Nanci; and brothers-in-law Chris, Steve and Windsor. A Celebration of Life gathering and Pig Pickin' Bar-B-Q will be held at his home on Saturday, April 8, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to: Delaware Hospice, 600 N. DuPont Hwy., Suite 107, Georgetown, DE 19947, (www.delawarehospice.org).

Kerry has been, and will continue to be, an inspiration to family and friends, leading them towards an embrasing of life and all it holds. He will be missed and remembered in equal measure. I especially will think of him whenever life gets tough, and I need to put on a determined smile. "yagottawanna"!
