KEVIN STANEK Obituary
KEVIN MICHAEL STANEK
Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, lived much of his life in Upper Marlboro, MD and Roanoke, VA. He passed away on November 3, 2013 at the age of 54 . Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Wencil and Mary of Fredericksburg, VA and his sister, Susan Prats of Florida. He is survived by his brothers, Wencil, Robin and Michael of MD, Thomas of South Carolina; seven nieces and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memoriam of Kevin Stanek to Vesta, Inc., 3900 Forestville Road, Forestville, MD 20747.

I became reacquainted with Kevin due to the worst of circumstances, but I learned how unique he really was. He would be dealing with dire medical issues and still be concerned about others wellbeing. I was lucky to get to know my brother again and will miss his wit and wisdom. May he rest in true and everlasting peace.
