Dr. KIRSTEN A. MOFFATT, PhD  (Age 46)  
A resident of Edgewater, MD, passed away on July 20, 2016 as the result of cardiac arrest in Rockville, MD. Kirsten was born in Cleveland, OH and is a graduate of Chatfield High School in Littleton, CO. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado - Boulder. In 2000 she earned her PhD in Experimental Pathology from the same university. For the past 15 years, Kirsten worked in sales of outsourcing laboratory services to large pharmaceutical companies. Her most recent position was Business Development Director with the Smithers Avanza company. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Kreiss and their 2½ year old daughter, Lexi Moffatt-Kreiss; her parents, James and Elizabeth Moffatt of Cape May, NJ; her sister, Sidney of Haines, AK and her brother, Jay of Fayetteville, WV.  Details of an upcoming memorial service and information about a fund to be set up for donations to Lexi Moffatt-Kreiss'' education can be found at:http://www.forevermissed.com/kirsten-ashley-moffatt
