It's been four years since we lost you, but we still remember you fondly. You were a great friend to all of us and occupy an important part of our lives.

It's been two years now, and I really don't think a day has gone by that I haven't thought about deal old Larry. It still doesn't seem possible / real.

I had the pleasure of accompanying Larry on his first two sky dives and many ski adventures (both snow and water). Larry always had a great love of life and never held back from making the most of it, I don't know if I ever saw Larry without a smile on his face. I am sorry that I was not able to spend more time with Larry over the last 40 years that we lived on opposite sides of they country. We always shared our adventures on-line, so it never seemed like we were that far apart. Farewell to a good friend and great guy.

I met Larry in Bethesda in 1978 or so and was in contact with him intermittently in the following years but always kept up with his activities through the Bill Lewis grapevine. Larry loved playing team and pickup sports and had a wide array of technical interests and hobbies. A positive, friendly, and fun person I am grateful to have known.

I had the pleasure of meeting Larry 25 years ago and working with him for about 10 years. I was a non-tech person new to the tech world and Larry made it easy for me to fit in even though we spoke different business languages. Larry was warm and approachable, kind, patient and friendly. He had a genuine interest in people. Even though our friendship didn't extend beyond the office, I considered him a true friend and more recently a kindered spirit, us having both acquired a cabin in the woods at the about same time. I'm sorry we will never get to enjoy a trail together.
To say someone is a nice guy seems a like trite pleasantry. To say Larry is a nice guy describes his whole person.
My deepest condolences to the Goodwin family.

Larry was a wonderful brother-in-law! He was fun, easy to talk to, always supportive, and never Judgemental. His presence will be missed immensely.
