David, TJ and Laurel's family. What an unbelievable unexpected tragedy. I grew up with Laurel and the Conrad family. Laurel was always kind, caring and in her own way funny. A life long friend. I hope the Flyer and Conrad family can find peace at this most challenging and difficult time. May God Bless you all.

I was greatly saddened to hear of Laurel's passing. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know her during her work as a CASA volunteer for our program. During her training, we realized she taught at East which I attended before moving to MD. I didn't have her but my older sister did and Laurel is the reason my sister is now a biochemist. She made such a huge impact on many including her CASA child. She will be missed and remembered fondly. I am so very sorry for your loss.
