Lawrence Bernard Obituary
Lawrence Joseph Bernard JR.
Mr. Bernard passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of September 27, 2023, after watching the Nationals game, he left this world enjoying one of his favorite pastimes. Born in DC on August 2,1937, 2nd of three children of Lawrence Sr. and Barbara Allyn Hines. He lived in the DC area all his life, enjoyed playing and continued to watch baseball, football, track, wrestling and golf at Congressional CC. Attended St.Albans, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and George Washington University Law School, practicing FCC/Radio related law until retirement. Preceded in death by his parents and partner of seven years, Dolores Pesek. Survived by sons William (Becky), Tyler (Heather), daughters Dona and Lee, sisters Dona Jensen and Mary Shuss, grandson Cooper, good friend Marina Buhler-Miko and several old friends. His family and friends remain saddened by his passing and will truly miss him. Local service on November 18, 2023, email [email protected] to RSVP.
