Lawrence Marzetti Obituary

Lawrence Anthony "Larry" Marzetti, 81, of Alexandria, VA, passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born February 17, 1944, in Washington, DC, Larry was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, known for his positivity, generosity, and determination. A graduate of Boston College and Georgetown Law, he had a private practice for many years in Oxon Hill, MD.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Diane; children Christopher, Lisa, and Matthew; six grandchildren; and brothers Joseph and Alfred. He was predeceased by his parents, two siblings, and a nephew.
A Celebration of Life will be held in February 2026.

I remember both Larry and his brother Joe from our days at SFX in southeast DC, I was in the same class as Joe, both outstanding football players. I will remember Larry and his family at mass.
