Lawrence Owens Obituary

Lawrence E. Owens Jr. was born on November 2, 1961, and passed away on June 4, 2025, at 63. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he touched many lives with his dependable service and warm smile as a dedicated FedEx courier. A devout Muslim and passionate fisherman, he found peace in his faith and by the water.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Caroline; sons Naim (Sabrina), Christopher, Elijah, Homer, and Pierre; daughters Sakinah, Kameela, and Priscilla; sister Nicole Barnes; Uncles; Hyman Young and Schley Owens; Great-aunt Ellen Sherrard; stepmother Mary Owens; and 16 loving grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvene and Lawrence Sr.; and his stepfather, Roland Harris. His legacy of kindness and community endures. Services private.
