I am saddened to hear about the passing of Larry/Hans. I am honored that I was present when he earned the name "Hans". He was so kind, so sincere, so honest. My heart goes out to his family. His family of Dave and Bubba. How lucky are these guys to have had this genius in their lives. God Speed.

My dear friend, I still can't believe you are gone. You were such a very good person, so friendly and caring. I will surely miss all the stories you would tell me while I clean your favorite place, the living room. The love for your family, especially your granddaughter and your cats was what kept you going. May you Rest In Peace Mr. Hans. You will be missed by many. May God bless your family and give them comfort.

`Mister Larry´ was truly one-of-a-kind. As the father of my lifelong friend Nicole, he was a constant presence in my life. He was a staple of the neighborhood we grew up in: always friendly, always caring, and never shy about lending a helping hand (or sharing his opinion-especially when it came to politics).
Whether it was joining in our neighborhood snowball fights or cracking jokes that made us laugh even when we didn´t quite understand them, `Mister Larry´ brought a sense of fun that welcomed all. He gave me one of my first pets, a turtle, much to the surprise of my mom, when I was five years old, he watched over our home and pets (including that turtle!) while we were away-just a few, of the many quiet acts of kindness that defined him.
He offered us advice as we navigated adolescence, and cheered us on as we stepped into early adulthood. His kind heart and generous spirit left an indelible mark.
Perhaps what I admired most about Larry was that he was a big kid at heart, unapologetically original, and unafraid to be himself.
`Mister Larry´, you are truly missed.
Love,
Michael
