LENORA ABRAMS
On April 30, 2014, Lenora Abrams, age 96, passed away. Predeceased by her first husband, Nathan Lubar and her second husband, Gordon Abrams. She is survived by her children, Charles (Dominique) Lubar, Joan Lubar-Alvarez and Nancy (David) Sommers; as well as grandchildren, Larry and Nathan (Diane) Sykes, Gordon and Evan Sommers, Katherine and Alex (Ana) Lubar; and great-grandchildren, Maya and Drew. Her kind and gracious warmth will be missed. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Danzansky-Goldberg Memorial, Chapels 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland. The family will receive friends at the home of Nancy and David Sommers on Sunday and Monday. Family suggests memorial contributions be made in Lenora Abrams name to the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.

Lenora Abrams and my late mother Leonora Kraft Edlow were the very best of friends for as long as I can remember. I grew up with Lenora's children in
Washington, D.C. Lenora was a very intelligent, sophisticated woman who
provided my family with an awful lot of good advice. I even bought my first car
from Lenora after she had won it in a raffle.
I remember her fondly.
