Of Locust Grove, VA, passed away at home at the age of 78 on July 5, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Linda; stepsons, Cris Wight of Newnan, GA and Pat Ligon of Fredericksburg, VA; and daughters, Evelyn Wight of Honolulu, HI and Judy Wight of Gaithersburg, MD; grandson, Gabriel Leon Ligon and granddaughters, Sabrina and Alani Wight. Leon was a retired Foreign Service Officer who served in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Korea, India, Laos and Thailand. Viewing will be at JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME, Locust Grove, VA on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial service will be held at the Lake of the Woods Church, Locust Grove, VA on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake of Woods Church Memorial Fund, 1 Church Ln., Locust Grove, VA 22508
