I wish to express my sincerest sympathy to the family upon the passing of Dr. Dobriansky. I was a student of his at Georgetown University over 50 years ago and I recall his classes vividly. He was a very articulate teacher, a man of strong beliefs, and a sardonic sense of humor. He was very kind to me as a student and I remember him with great esteem and fondness.
I will always treasure my memory of Lev and may God bless you in your time of grief.

Lev was a consummate teacher, a revered mentor and a vivid christian example. The world has lost a great man who had the courage and persistence to help free the Captive Nations from the tyranny of Communism.
I thank him for all that he gave me.
