A former resident of Vienna, VA, passed away on January 7, 2003, in St. Petersburg, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Army BG John Gramzow and son LTC Richard Gramzow. She is survived by her son, John Jr. of Florida; her daughter and son-in-law, COL George and Sally Shepard of Alabama and her daughter-in-law, Lynn Gramzow of Virginia; four grandchildren and their families, Laura Gramzow and Dermot O'Gara, Eamonn, Roisin, Cillian and Ronan of Ireland; Dr. Richard Gramzow and Elizabeth of Boston; LTC Thatcher and Jennie Shepard and Samantha, Mollie and Thatcher Jr. of Belguim; Major John and Dr. Debbie Shepard and daughter, Allie of Florida. Funeral services for Mrs. Gramzow will be on Friday, May 9 in Arlington National Cemetery, following a Mass at 2:30 p.m., Fort Myer Old Post Chapel.
