LINA LOU THIES (nee Morgan)
On Thursday, January 14, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Carl William Thies; mother of Grace Athey, Katie Chavez, Lina MacMichael, Carla Downs and the late Chip Thies. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and numerous in-laws. Relatives and friends may call at Borgwardt Funeral Home 4400 Powder Mill Road, Beltsville, MD 20705 on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday at First Lutheran Church of Bowie, 12710 Duckettown Road, Bowie, MD 20715 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church of Bowie Perpetual Cemetery Fund. www.borgwardtfuneralhome.com
