VOGEL LOIS RUTH VOGEL On Sunday, January 18, 2009, LOIS RUTH VOGEL, residing currently in Canton, OH, formerly of Bethesda, MD. Daughter of the late Harry and Sara Meyers; beloved wife of Bertram Vogel; devoted mother of Lynne Anne (Victor) Baronoff, Sharon (Dr. Todd) Fladen and Marla (Robert) Hoffman; dear sister of Bertram (Debbie) Meyers; loving grandmother of Jill (Marc) Brumberger, Elliot, Rabbi Avi (Devora) and Tzvi (fiance'e, Esty Plutchok) Fladen and Danielle Hoffman; cherished great-grandmother of Ethan, Owen and Simi; step-grandmother of Amy Kalomiris. Lois was the oldest surviving member of Kesher Israel Congregation in Washington, DC. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 10 a.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel, Olney, MD. Interment immediately following. Memorial contributions may be made Telshe Yeshiva, Wickliffe, OH or to the Kesher Israel Congregation, Washington, DC. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, (202) 541-1001 (endorsed by the Rabbinical Council of Washington).
