LOLA BATES WASHINGTON (Age 101)
On Saturday, May 30, 2013. Beloved mother of Edwin B. Washington, Jr. (Tommie), Dr. Melvin C. Washington (Debra), Betty W. Thomas and Dr. Deborah W. Brown (Ruel). Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a special niece, Joyce L. Lyerly; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1500 9th St., NW. Interment Maryland National Memorial Park.
