Dear Allen Family,
I was very saddened to hear that Lori had lost her very brave Leukemia fight. Lori always raised her hand for the tough assignments, this one not withstanding...and she managed them with pride, grace and true professionalism. May you find comfort in the very fond memories from her many GE/GXS collegues.

A great soul serves everyone all the time.
A great soul never dies.
It brings us together again and again.

Lori fought this terrible illness with every fiber of strengh she had. Never once did Lori complain. She faced all of her treatments with unimaginable courage and held us together with her absolutely amazing will and determination.
One of the saddest days we experienced was in early June when Lori realized that she may never return to GXS . She Loved her work and all of you who worked with Lori and for Lori.

Thank you all,
Steve Allen

To the Allen Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My husband and I both worked for her during our careers at GE. For me she was a great coach and mentor. I learned a lot of lessons working for Lori in the early parts of my career. Her calm nature and grace under pressure are attributes that I will always remember. She helped to create the foundation of my career.

Corey and Allison, your mother was always proud of you and spoke highly of you both. Losing a parent is not easy as I recent lost my father. We hope you find comfort in knowing how much she loved you both and the fond memories that you have created over the years.

I am truly sorry for your loss. May memories of happier times help you to cope during these most difficult days. Have faith in the promise God made at Psalms 37:29 -“The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” His promises bring us comfort and offer us hope. They will without fail come true. I offer my sincere condolences to you all.

My deepest condolences for the family. I had the pleasure of having Lori as my manager at GXS for about 5 years. She was without a doubt one of the fairest yet strongest leaders I have had the pleasure to have worked and I am thankful to have known her. I don't think that I every witnessed her losing her cool during any stressful time as the Director of Client Services. An attribute that I deeply admired.

It is my prayer that God comforts you during your deepest time of loss.

In Christ,
Brent Ward
